Ignition process is a key step for the normal running of rotary kiln. It is also the first step before normal calcination. In the ignition process, there are many elements which will affect the ignition operation. Today, professional engineers in Zhengzhou Taida Group sum up some problems which will appear in ignition operation.
1. Small exhaust wind of rotary kiln equipment. The inner
rotary kiln is dim, therefore there are a great amount of air gathering at kiln inlet. Accordingly, there are a great amount of dense co from the kiln door, which will have impact on normal operation of operators. At this time, make the exhaust air damper wide open and increase the wind pulled.
2. Send coal too earlier or send too much coal. Coal powder is not easy to fire. Although there is no great amount of coal, there will be black smoke from chimney. The fire color will be more and more dark, even the flame cannot be seen clearly. At this time, reduce the coal fed or stop conveying coal. After building up of temperature, start to send proper amount of coal to rotary kiln.
3. The primary wind is too small. After the injection of coal, coal pellets will fall and flame is very weak. Aimed at this problem, increase the volume of primary wind.
4. The primary wind is too strong. The flame is not stable. With proper amount of coal powder, black fire head will be yellowish. Aimed at this problem, reduce the volume of primary wind.
5. The air volume exhausted is too large. Flame will be pulled back quickly. The place which should be bright is dark. There is almost no smoke out from cooling cylinder. Flame kickback severely. At this moment, turn down the exhaust valve and reduce air amount pulled in order to make flame stable.
Hope these analysis can do some help to rotary kiln customers and make more customers feel the advantages of rotary kiln.
