Metallurgy rotary kiln is one of rotary kiln equipment. It is majorly applied for calcining various mineral materials in metallurgy aspect. Taeda metallurgy rotary kiln can provide 500 to 1450℃. Diameter of metallurgy rotary kiln is always larger than 2.5m.
Application:Mainly used in the metallurgical industry for magnetizing and roasting lean iron ore in iron plants; roasting chromium oxidation and nickel iron ore oxidation; roasting high metallurgical ore in refractory plants and roasting clinker in aluminum plants; roasting aluminum hydroxide and chromium ore and chromium ore powder in chemical plants.
Kiln cylinder body is rolled and welded by high-quality killed steel plate. The cylinder body is supported on 2nd to 7th block sliding bearing through the tire belt. There is mechanical or hydraulic block wheel set on one or several block support devices. The axial movement of cylinder can be flexibly controlled.
Transmission device will rotate according to required rotation speed through gear ring set in middle of kiln body. Major transmission adopts frequency conversion motor, which provides convenience for smoothly adjusting rotation speed of rotary kiln. Motor power ranges from 15 to 75kw for auxiliary transmission so that rotary kiln can run stably.
Large rotary kiln is set with auxiliary transmission device which can make rotary kiln body can rotate in a low speed so that to meet installation and maintenance demands.
