The current development of the world, clinker industry, centering on energy saving, consumption reduction and environmental protection, takes the road of sustainable development. In accordance with this, the resource utilization of clinker equipment, especially clinker rotary kiln equipment and the environmental behavior in application have also become research hotspots. The purpose of thermal engineering of clinker rotary kiln is to determine the fuel consumption, analyze heat budget in calcination system, determine the thermal efficiency of the clinker rotary kiln and seek ways to reduce heat consumption. The overall equipment of clinker rotary kiln production line includes clinker rotary kiln, cooler, decomposition furnace and preheater system.

Taeda clinker rotary kiln holds reasonable parameters. Coal and electricity consumption are 20% to 30% lower than last generation clinker rotary kiln.
Compared with old rotary kiln, capacity of Taeda clinker kiln is improved over than 20%. It has been widely applied in cement and mining industry.
Whole production process is supervised under centralized control. Whole production line holds high automation level and saves labor force.
Taeda continuously upgrades structure and refractory material of clinker rotary kiln. Equipment can run for 10 years or longer under good maintenance.
Support roller and gear ring adopts modern thermal treament process. Replacement periods is about 10000 running hours.
Cement clinker rotary kiln structure:
Rotary kiln mainly consists of kiln head, kiln body, kiln tail and catch wheel. Kiln body is rolled and welded by steel plate. There is refractory liner set inside drum and a certain inclination between drum and horizontal level. Support device is supported by three pulley tyre. Large gear ring is fixed near feeding end by spring plate meshed with pinion under bottom.
Working principle:
When the rotary kiln is in normal operation, the main drive motor transmits power to the open gear device through the main reducer to drive the rotary kiln. The material enters the kiln from the kiln tail (the high end of the cylinder) for calcination. Due to the inclination and slow rotation of the cylinder, the material rolls in the circumferential direction and moves in the axial direction (from the high end to the low end). The rotary kiln continues to complete the process of decomposition and firing. After physical and chemical changes, it matures. The material enters the cooler for cooling through the kiln head cover. The fuel is injected into the kiln from the kiln head, and the waste gas produced by the combustion is discharged from the kiln tail after heat exchange with the material.
